Joint And Crack Sealing Program.  This program is implemented by our Street Maintenance crews and involves the routing, cleaning and sealing of cracks, voids or joints in street pavement utilizing a rubberized crack sealing product.  Crack sealing is a very cost effective measure and is performed routinely to keep water from getting into/under the pavement.  It helps to keep the pavement in good condition and interrupts the spread of more cracking. This is a City-wide program where priority is given to those streets scheduled under the Bituminous Fog Seal Program and Micro-Surfacing Program.
