Joint And Crack Sealing Program.  This program is implemented by our Street Maintenance crews and involves the routing, cleaning and sealing of cracks, voids or joints in street pavement using a rubberized crack sealing product. 

Crack sealing is a very cost effective measure and is performed routinely to keep water from getting into/under the pavement.  It helps to keep the pavement in good condition and interrupts the spread of more cracking.

Crack sealing is often used to extend the life of resurfaced streets that are beginning to show cracking and older concrete streets that are in relatively good condition but with cracks.
