(March 17, 2025) The official groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction on Main Street Landing is scheduled for April 3, 2025!
Main Street Landing is a 10-acre park between Main Street and the roller dams designed with play areas, water features, and a multi-use plaza for four seasons of adventure along the river.
The event will include remarks by Mayor Matson, Chad Dyson, Director of Parks & Recreation, Clay Merritt, Director of Engineering & Capital Projects, and Dave Herrell, President and CEO of Visit Quad Cities.
Special thanks to the team at Valley Construction, the contractor selected by the Davenport City Council to lead the construction of this multi-million-dollar attraction.
