Roosevelt Community Center is a multi-purpose facility located at 1220 Minnie Avenue. The facility was built in 1925 and originally served the community as an elementary school. It now houses a multitude of programs and amenities (listed below) for the public.

The facility is also home to IMANI dance classes, The Midwest Academy of Dance, mixed martial arts classes and The Roosevelt Community Partnership.
Gymnasium Reservations
Small gym with full service kitchen and access to restrooms. Want to take a tour of the space, but cannot see it during normal business hours? A virtual tour is now available!
Capacity is 80 with tables and chairs for 60. Sunday reservations available after 1PM.
Reservations can be made 365 days in advance but should be made at least 30 days in advance of your special event. Reservations can be made in person at The River's Edge, 700 W River Dr. NEW in 2024! You can now submit a reservation request online that will temporarily hold a pending date and time for your event.
Amenities:
Small gymnasium with tables (6-6ft rectangle tables/2-8ft rectangle tables/7-60" round tables), chairs (approx 60), full service kitchen and access to restrooms.
Fees:
$100 refundable deposit paid at time of reservation
Monday-Thursday: 4 hour minimum $120 ($30/additional hour)
Friday-Sunday: 4 hour minimum $160 ($40/additional hour)
