Help us celebrate the City's 43rd year as a Tree City USA by planting trees!

Cleanup and Greenup is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the spring and help protect our natural resources. Aside from planting beneficial trees, participants can take pride in leaving a legacy in Davenport, have fun, make new friends, and receive a free t-shirt for their efforts to help us improve our community.

Date:  Saturday, April 26, 2025 | 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Who can Participate?  This opportunity is open to anyone interested in beautifying Davenport and protecting our natural resources. No previous experience is necessary. Individuals under the age of 17 must have adult supervision.

Description of Project:  Volunteers will be digging holes, planting trees and pickup litter along the planting route. Litter pickup consists of walking, bending and placing wastes in a bag for disposal and carries little hazard. Tree planting requires some lifting.  The equipment to be used shall include gloves, bags, shovels and/or spades.

 Registration will go live in February 2025.
