Investment in major roads and neighborhood streets is resulting in Better Roads Ahead Davenport! Check out what we got done last year!

Watch for updates on the 2024 construction season as we head into March, when the Council will vote to approve the budget.

• With the exception of sidewalks, all phases of the E 53rd St reconstruction project between Brady St and Elmore Cir were completed
• Improved the intersection of Central Park and Hickory Grove Rd
• Resurfaced W Locust from Marquette to Division St
• Resurfaced E Central Park between Brady and Pershing and improved the intersection at Farnam
• Made intersection improvements at Eastern and Locust Streets
• Reconstructed Clark St between 11th and 13th Streets
• Reconstructed W 36th St between Division to Pacific Streets
• Reconstructed Mound St between Locust and Elm Streets

And those are just the high visibility projects! We also resurfaced or reconstructed many other neighborhood streets with contracts and in-house resources.
