The CitiBus fleet is wheelchair accessible with a rear-facing wheelchair securement system. The system allows mobility passengers complete independence to secure their wheelchairs in less than 25 seconds with the push of a button and minimal driver assistance.

Although these accommodations are provided, we understand some disabilities prevent individuals from boarding, riding, or getting to an accessible fixed-route bus. For this reason, complimentary paratransit services are made available to individuals with disabilities who cannot board, ride, or get to an accessible fixed-route bus due to their disability. 

Paratransit Service
Davenport CitiBus provides ADA Paratransit service to eligible Davenport residents who are unable to use fixed route service. The paratransit service is only provided within Davenport city limits with pick-up and drop-off locations less than 3/4 miles of an existing fixed bus route. If you are unsure if your residence meets this requirement, please call 563.888.2151 for assistance. CitiBus administers the service. The service is operated under a contract with River Bend Transit. 

Paratransit Application (Applicants must be a resident of Davenport)
Individuals must complete a paratransit application and get approved before using this service. 

1. Call 563.888.2151 to request an application be mailed, or download the application by clicking this link. 
2. Complete and submit the completed application according to instruction.
3. A determination of eligibility will be mailed to you. 

Fares for Paratransit Service

• $1.75 for individuals ages 12 and up
• $.85 for children ages 5 to 11 with a paid adult fare
• One personal care attendant is free with paid paratransit fare

All transportation under the paratransit program is by appointment only. Eligible individuals must call River Bend Transit at 563.386.1350 to make a reservation and obtain trip information (TDD equipped). Reservations may be made up to fourteen (14) days in advance but no later than one (1) day before the desired trip date.  Service is provided during CitiBus Transit hours.
