Slopertown Rd between Harrison and Division Streets has-reopened ahead of schedule! While this section has re-opened, keep in mind the intersection of Slopertown Rd and Hillandale will remain closed through the fall for intersection improvements and widening.

Reconstruction and shoulder improvements on Slopertown Rd between Harrison and Division Streets is ahead of schedule and nearing completion. Watch for an announcement on re-opening early next week. While this section will re-open, keep in mind the intersection of Slopertown Rd and Hillandale will remain closed through the fall for intersection improvements and widening.

If you use Slopertown Rd, you will want to start making alternate travel plans. The road will be closed between Harrison and Division Streets beginning Monday, June 1st, for reconstruction and shoulder improvements. The estimated completion date for reconstruction is Friday, September 18th.
You might recall other pavement improvements were completed in the area two years ago. This project builds upon work completed to the west. Not only were pavement improvements long overdue, but improved transportation along this corridor will support new business and economic growth in Davenport with easy access to the interstate, Davenport Municipal Airport, and the industrial park.
