Rockingham Rd will re-open the morning of Sat Nov 23rd. Some concrete requires curing overnight before the road can be re-opened.

Preparatory sewer repairs on eastbound Rockingham Rd are complete. On Tuesday, September 24th eastbound Rockingham Rd will re-close between S Concord and Fairmount to begin resurfacing work. Follow the signed detour.
Resurfacing will be performed in several stages. Work will begin with patching and milling work in the eastbound lanes between S Concord and Fairmount. Once patching and milling work is complete in the eastbound lanes, work will switch to the westbound lanes. When all patching and milling is complete work will again transition between eastbound and westbound lanes for the asphalt application.
Limited access to driveways will be available.
All resurfacing work is estimated to be complete around mid-November.

Preparatory work on Rockingham Rd for resurfacing began today. Eastbound Rockingham Rd is currently closed between Elsie and just west of S Concord. This closure will be expanded to between S Concord and Fairmount St beginning Monday, September 23rd.
Work will be performed in several stages. Point repairs on the sewer under the current closure will occur over the next week. Beginning on the 23rd, patching and milling work will begin in the eastbound lanes between S Concord and Fairmount. Once patching and milling work is complete in the eastbound lanes, work will switch to the westbound lanes. When all patching and milling is complete work will again transition between eastbound and westbound lanes for the asphalt application.
All resurfacing work is estimated to be complete around mid-November.
