Sewer repair and replacement may occur as part of planned maintenance activities and may be performed on an emergency basis due to sewer collapse.

Property owners are responsible to maintain the sewer line from their building to where the pipe connects to the public sanitary sewer main.  The city is responsible to maintain the sewer main.
