The Storm Water Advisory Committee provides input concerning appropriate storm water management policies and programs, best management practices and funding sources with the primary purpose to minimize increases in stormwater runoff, pollution and soil erosion as well as improve the quality of our natural resources and streams.
Meetings are conducted in accordance with the city’s State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit requirements. Meetings are open to the public subject to the exceptions in Iowa Code, Section 21.5. The number of members on the Committee shall be limited to no fewer than six and no more than ten. Members are selected by the Public Works Director and Clean Water Manager and serve 2 year staggered terms.

- Bi-annually, 2 p.m. on the third Monday of August and March
